We all get inspiration for our layouts in many different ways.

We can be inspired by magazines, sketches, photos even by the emotions we feel when we look at a photo and remember that particular moment the photo was taken.

The other day I was looking through some old craft magazines and found some old fee patterns for embroidery and that is what inspired me to do this layout.

I always keep these old patterns for well just in case!

You can use the templates to make your own felt or material flowers or maybe sculpey birds.

Just let your imagination go wild think outside the square.

This is the pattern I found that inspired my layout.

You can get this effect by layering matching patterned paper.

Scrapchat are holding their very first Girls Night In on the 4th October at Upper Mt Gravatt Progress Hall to raise vital funds for women’s cancers.
So, ditch the boys and come and spend the night in with the girls.
We’ll have a fab time Scrapbooking for a good cause!
I can’t wait to see you here.

We will be having competitions, raffles and lucky door prizes.

In conjuction with this this very worthy cause A Passion For Craft will be donnating 10% of each sale to the Cancer Foundation to help in the fight and research in womens cancers .

The funraising will run from now (23 Aug) untill the 4th of October and I will announce how much was raised at The Girls Night In.
